Features that help users discover new places and share their experiences
This section provides a comprehensive breakdown of Levro’s main features. The features work in unison to give the users a simple and one-of-a-kind experience that will help them discover new places, find recommendations, leave reviews for their friends, and more.

The Feed
The main feed has two options, one for 'Friends' and another for the 'Public.' Both feeds work concurrently to increase engagement based on their friends, users they follow, interests, places they've checked into, and locations other users have visited.

When writing a review or asking for recommendations, users can send their posts to the public, friends and followers, or both. The friend's feed comprises posts from a users' friends and followers. We’ve created the public feed so that users can see posts from other people around the world. Each post on this feed is from a user interested in a location you’ve previously checked into or reviewed. Consequently, all posts are relevant on this feed, and the person who posted can receive high-level feedback from people who have been there.

Discover Page
Our discovery page gives users the ability to find places relative to their current location, search for a location or something specific based on their interests, and receive recommendations on places to visit and people to follow.

When people search through social media, they'll notice that most of the content is from places worldwide, with very little hyperlocal content. While users can still see content from across the globe, this page also lets users find places nearby, search by a specific city or keyword, or scroll through the feed and look for inspiration on places to visit.

It can be frustrating when people see a picture or video of a place they'd like to visit, only to realize that it would be challenging to go there. We want users to have the capacity to find places near and far based on their accessibility to travel.
If users prefer a list instead of viewing the results on a map, that option is provided. Users can also sort the results or filter them based on distance, popularity, rating, or number of friends that have been there.

Levro will pin locations relevant to your search inquiry on the map when searching. Places based on your proximity to them will appear at the bottom of the screen, which you can scroll through. There will be details about each location and a number representing how many of your friends have been there.

The nearby friends feature in the upper left-hand corner shows users which of their friends are within the current focus of their map. As the map changes, the number of friends adjusts. This lets people keep their location private while allowing users to see if their friends are nearby.

The main map page shows users' points of interest and how many friends are nearby based on the current focus of their map. If users are looking for something specific in the area or another city, they can use the search option at the top to find what they're looking for.

The Map
With Levro being based on where people have been, we felt it to be appropriate to have the map as our main page. This page can show you which of your friends are nearby, places close that your friends have been to, search functionality if you're looking for something specific, and much more.

View your profile, find other friends' profiles, all of the reviews they've shared, and discover the places they've been.
